Before & After

In response to another request from Dear Lelia,( from a few weeks ago-sorry I am a procrastinator) I am releasing some before and after pics of ME! From December to now I have lost 52 pounds! It has been very hard but well worth it. I went straight from playin ball for YEARS to doing NOTHING! It caught up with me quickly! It was much easier to put on then to get off, but I do admit that I feel much better now and have more energy and not embarrassed to be seen. I just hid most of it under baggy sweatshirts and loose joggin pants back then. It got bad, but hopefully I can stick to this and not let it happen again. I have been walking and running and keeping a fitness log/binder of workouts and tracking progress. I haven't really altered the eating part..I can't do that I love food too much. I do try to drink more water and less pop, but I cant resist my daily happy hour trips to SONIC! Those things will never change. :) But here are a few pics to show progress. Thanks for being there for me Leanne. You are the best!

More from Florida

St. Augustine

While in Fl. we toured historic St. Augustine. Saint Augustine Florida is the oldest European city in the United States. The area was first visited by Ponce de Leon in 1513. It was a wonderful place to visit. The architecture of the building was BEAUTIFUL. I'm not much on histroy, but this was something to see. I am glad we took a day to do it, it was well worth it. I didn't get a lot of pics, but here are a few to share. It was a great experience.

Florida 2008

Jeffery and I, along with his mom Carol and sister Jeanna took a vacation to Florida a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful time. We stayed with Jeff's brother Jamie who is a member of the US Coast Guard and is currently living in Orange Park, FL. He and his wife Kim, live in a very nice apartment complex. It is surrounded by a huge lake, beautiful landscaping, palm trees, and much more. There is a pool on location, tennis/basketball/ and volleyball courts, and you can fish the lake as well-we had it made. Not to mention we didn't have to worry about a pricey hotel bill:) We toured some historical parts of the area, hit up the beach everyday, shopped til we dropped, and just made the best of it all

Since my last blog entry...many moons ago, many exciting things have happened in my life. I hope to get you all updated soon. Bare with me, I have been away from this for a while now. I'm going to try and post a few today and more to come shortly. Hope everyone is doing great. And I must warn you, I may miss a few days here and there, sorry in advance.
